If I concentrate real hard I can translate this into 'with track one selected, right click on the little green arrow on track two, select 'sidechain to this track only' ' 'MOD input - With the Modulation source Mixer track selected, Right-click on the Vocodex mixer track, send switch and select Sidechain to this track only, to deselect the send to master switch and prevent the Modulator audio passing to the Master track. Tuturials have all kinds of ways, some use a built in carrier and some use a production track, which is what I'm after.
I've accidentally got this to work twice. I loaded vocodex first and got all excited, because it was reading 1 and 0, but the minute I started assigning channels, like the help file said to do, all I got was zeroes again!
Problem is, I can't get the vocodex's built in mixer to read anything but mod 0 and car 0 OR mod 0 and car. Sidechain vocal or both to channel 3 only Load vocodex on mixer channel 3 (empty channel)
Mod- lead vocal, channel 1, track 1 on mixerĬarrier- synth, channel 2, track 2 on mixer. This is driving me crazy because I got it to work TWICE, then saved the project as a reference, but the settings did not save.
